    A nice example!
You may want to do a little research, I have heard that there are a lot of copies of this packet around.

The packet has the place of manufacture as 'Schrobenhansen' when in fact it should be 'Schrobenhausen'. This is known to be found on fake packets. I can't comment on the medal, but the ribbons are often post war additions, but I'll leave that to others.

Hi, the medal is fine, no problems there.

The packets with the mis-spelling are actually OK. A friend of mine had one of each spelling tested by a lab which found both were made of period paper. It was just a typo.

However, the real problem is the ribbon. This is repro.

These packeked up sets appeared in quantity on the market in the 1990's. Some were early Tombak, while others were late Zinc made examples. All had these short ribbons cut with pinking shears.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thank you very much Adrian. It so happens I did pick up the set in 1997. I did find it a bit odd that the medal and ribbon was a bit longer than the envelope it was suppose to fit in
