Hello castle I haven't studied these but I half to say I like it. It's an extremely clean strike with very crisp detail to the badge (the edges, the eagles feet and legs, the pebbling in the background behind the swastika, the wear to the finish, the catch and reversed stamped numbers) all look honest and what I would expect to see of a period piece. I d like to see an image with the pin closed but from what I can see I think it stands a chance. Of course happy to stand corrected. Kind st regards.

Looks like it is on an auction? ( the number in red beside it ) or a sellers site. Does price or expected give you any gut indications? ( cheap = suspect )
