Hi everyone, this mother's cross in bronze seems to have wider white sections on the ribbon than on the gold and silver ones I have, is that a good sign of a replacement ribbon? Apart from that does anyone have any thoughts on the cross itself?

I would've called the ribbon good. What do you guys see as being wrong?

The white stripes are a bit wide. Normaly one is thin the other wide this ribbon are both stripes wide. Can you post a picture of just the ribbon could be just the picture taken badly

I thought small variations in the ribbons was acceptable.

Here's a bronze mini with a ribbon with wide white stripes tied up with a more conventional piece. I don't have any problem with the whole ensemble being original.

This is what I meant by the slightly different ribbons, with the bronze one having whider white sections.

I have one just like that. Can't really comment as to why, might need a little research. Here it is for comparison.

Looking at the all lined up the colour and style look good. I haved looked up my complete map and i just havent got any ribbon in it like this one. Youre mini is indeed period with the same style ribbon i learned something new today.

I have to honnest and looking at it this way i misjudged the ribbon.
