Hell of a way to start a collection. The gilt on this one is beautiful, and the miniature is the icing on the cake.
Militaria has a way of multiplying without you noticing. Once the bug gets you, you're doomed.

Thanks b.b ��. I must say when holding this one compared to my mum's fake I can definitely Tell! (Besides The appearance) and the miniature is so adorable. Can't wait to be continuing the collection!

The best next step would probably be to seek out a second and third class Mutterkreuz. If you can, find them with their issue packets. Then you'll have a complete set.
My only regret is not buying a bronze with its packet. But then it was my first 'Nazi' piece!
