Erdkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe, GH Osang Dresden

Hi all,

I am still looking for a good Erdkampfabzeichen to buy, I have found this one below. It looks genuine to me, with quite a lot of finish remaining. What do you think about it?
At the bottom on both faces there are some strange blue traces, looks like an oxydation? any thought about it?

Hello Pierre,
It has either a re-soldered original catch, or possibly it sat in water for a while somewhere.
Other than that, I see no red flags on this badge.
It has an attached nickel silver eagle.

i agree with Ralph, a original badge for me too.

IMO the catch is o.k. The oxidation is also to see on the obverse side...maybe bad stocked as Ralph already mentioned.

Original for me too, I'd be surprised if the catch was repaired. I didn't give water damage a thought Ralph (a good call IMO). I thought it was scorch/heat "bluing". It looks like one of the wing tips has it too. Nice award anyway, congrats. Stewy
