    Gentlemen:

I am new at this so please beg my pardon and ignorance.

Would surely appreciate feedback on this German Cross in Gold

Marked in cartouche beneath pin ‘134’ which, as I understand, would suggest Klein as the maker.

    Width 62mm, weight 46 grams

    Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum!
Please read this thread regarding posting in the Orders and Decorations section of the forum.
    The Use of German Terminology.

I see some discrepancies in the date and the maker's mark, but I like what I see on the hardware and the rest of the badge.
I do not know if this is a "light" version or not. The number 134 is for the maker Otto Klein & Co.
I do not study these so please be patient for some other replies.

Looks like a good cross to me with all the tell tell signs one looks for in a 134 marked piece . Congratulations on a nice award . These are beautiful medals that really catch your eye .

I greatly appreciate your feedback and patience as I learn the ropes here. Is this the best forum/sub-forum to be posting medals such as this to?

Actually, it belongs in the general Orders and Decorations section.
    I will move it there.

Thanks, glad to know I'm in the right thread!

I know there is already some good feedback, but if anyone else wants to weigh in that would be great.
