I have the opportunity to buy this luftwaffe bomber clasp... but first, I would like to have your opinion about it...
I don't want to end up with a fake one
The seller is telling me that it's the silver version..

IMO I think it is a good clasp but there are a few things going on with this badge.
Both the front and rear appear to have been abraded with some sort of sandpaper which has left visible scarring to the surface of the oak leaves, the laurel wreath and the bomb.
The pin shows really excessive pitting
The wreath has a crack in it that goes virtually from the rear to the front.
I think it is a bronze grade and not a silver.

I would pass on this one and wait till something better comes along. I know that the bronze bomber clasps seem to be harder to come by than the silver and gold grades but when they do show up they are generally in nice, little worn condition.
