Hi William
I imagine you also would believe that better pics will be needed to really get an accurate idea. I can offer a quick observation though. From what I see, there's one S in Fuess and there should be two. Munchen should have, for lack of a proper punctuation name for it, two "dots" above the U. The pin plate should be orientated right-side-up with the number at the bottom, but this example could be a repair. The membership number was always stamped along the border in a circular orientation to the badge on these small Fuess badges. It's difficult to see in your pics but you can check for these things while you await better pics.

Here is everything that you should need to judge a Gold Party Badge.

Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I wouldnt spend top bucks for one especially online.
'Umlaut' is the term Greenhorn meant.........

warRelic,
Read the link in Wagriff's post about this badge. There were only 22,282 awarded which isn't a massive amount. Sure, there would've been some more in stock etc but there were not tons of these made. They are a rare and sought after award in todays collector market and are also worth quite a bit of money so you would need to spend top bucks to get one.
Don't mistake them for the common party badge of which there were tons made. This is a Golden Party Badge, note the wreath around the edge.

I do not like it - poor enamel, "O" is not in the right shape, swastika is too small... But I'm not an expert.
