HELP: SA Sportabzeichen - Really bad fake or something more?

Hello all,

I recently aquired this SA Sportabzeichen badge. if you look at the stamps on the back it looks just not right.

Is this just a bad fake by someone with no attention to detail or did something happen to this badge when it was being produced? for example "lüdenscheid" is stamped "üdenscheid" and so much more on this badge that is just way off. take a look and see and share your thoughts on this. Thank you.

I am a new collector going on 3 months, I search this forums a lot and try to answer my own questions through research but this one is a doozy, so thank you for any and all help.

Chinese repro imo. As you say makers marks are way of & it appears to have that strange lacquer'd antiqued appearance to the obverse, Not one for me. I would return it for a refund if possible. Regards Paul.
