It looks to be a later zinc example with almost all of the finish remaining.
Do you know the maker mark on the reverse of the packet?
The ring could also be stamped for a maker.

Took the words out of my mouth Ralph It has a very good amount of original finish but looks to need a touch of vaseline to inhibit the dreaded zinc pest! Regards Paul.
