    So after reading the thread you posted, I think this is a Kriegsabzeichen type 2 L/16 by Hobarth. Does that sound right to you? Thanks.

    Hi kimfitz,

    That badge does have the "Type 2" obverse design, but it's not an L/16 (which would be Steinhauer & Lück). There's no such thing as "Hobarth", by which you possibly mean Wilhelm Hobacher who also used the Type 2 obverse design along with many other makers. At any rate, the badge you show is just a cast reproduction of a Souval (who also used the Type 2 obverse design).
