Well, you will want opinions from others who perhaps specialise in these badges but I have to say that I am not keen on this one either and I think it looks like another cast copy.
The detail is soft on the obverse and there is clearly visible "flash" (excess material at the edges that results from unsophisticated casting). The general surface appearance is a little "rough" and if you look at the reverse you can see what looks like shrinkage and surface creasing just as you see with a cake when it comes out of the oven. This does not occur in die-forging which produces a fairly smooth and level surface. These RS badges have been widely copied post-war and I believe some repros were actually made by RS themselves. Also, those straight lines on the reverse look far too precise to be random "tap tap" marks.
Wait for other opinions but this is not one for me, sorry

Mark
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
I believe, another cast fake.
Not only for the reasons that Mark has pointed out but, as far as I know, Rudolph Souval did not make war time U-boat badges with the small font.

Thanks gentlemen for the answers. Look please at my next award or is it fake?
Kriegsmarine Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen ID original?
As you have already posted this question in a separate thread (which is a good thing) please wait patiently until you get an answer there.
Best, Jan
