It's not two '7's otherwise the bottoms wouldn't fare out like they appear to do.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Hi Jonas,
Could it be the number '22' for Boerger & Co. with the tops of both numbers missing due to the fact that you can see nearly a third of the incuse makers mark is missing? It's a miss strike in my opinion, but I can easily see why you say it looks like a number '77'.
Regards, Ned.

According to this link from HWM, the number 77 WAS found on Ost medals. Under the 2 lists, one apparently Weber's, the number is descibed as 'Bayrisches Hauptmunzamt' and 'Hauptmunzamt Munchen'.

Whaddaya think about that?

Also, Boerger & Co is not an listed Ostmedaille maker. And I do not think it is a "55" either.

Hello,
beautiful coin you show us because they like it very much. If you like the medal, I'll take it .
Your piece is shown from the manufacturer 77 ( Bayrisches Hauptmünzamt, München ).
It is also not so easy to find, which are somewhat rare.
There is no reliable and verifiable pieces of Boerger & Co. until now.
