Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen - real? maker?

Can You look please my Minensucher-Kriegsabzeichen? Is it good one? Can someone to identify the maker?

At a German specialist forum, the badge was identified as original "Paul Meybauer".

I too thought Meybauer when I first saw this badge but only had my phone to browse on at the time and it puzzled me.

The reverse set up is intriguing. The pin is Meybauer shaped but a lot shorter than I thought Meybauer pins should be, the catch is positioned quite high and the hinge is attached differently from the usual Meybauer examples.

Hi Guys,

Definitely not a Meybauer. I've attached a comparison to the Meybauer design to show the different leaf vein pattern to the right of the swastika.

In fact, it's based upon a Schickle in both design and margin contours, but I fear it's simply an old copy, possibly from he 70's. The eagle's feet are poorly formed compared with originals and there's a distortion to the upper left wing which occurred before the gilding was applied. The reverse setup is not like any wartime badge, and that high hollow hinge block is more characteristic of what was being used in the 1970's and 80's.

Thank you for your opinion Norm, It wasn't sitting right with me and I haven't had the time to look into it other than my initial observations. The reverse is more like Schickle as you say but still not a Schickle.
