Re: My first cased award
Thanks guys
It was just like the way the “W” on mine looks like two Vs crossing each other.
Adrian I would like to see your collection of these, have you ever posted them together? If so could you give me a link please.
Now i have three gold’s and three silvers and one damaged bronze, there something about them I find attractive,
Mind you these poor women deserved a medal for having eight kids.
Thanks
Rod

Re: My first cased award
Hi Rod,
I appreciate your interest in my collection, I have posted a group shot (as it was a year or two ago) here: Mutterkreuz Collection.
There is another item here: Mutterkreuz Regulation Sheet. There is also a link to the translation within the thread.
A clasp here: Mutterkreuz Clasp in bronze.
Some half size crosses here: Half size Mutterkreuz.
And some mint examples here: Deschler Hoard Mutterkreuz.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

Re: My first cased award
Your first cased award is always a great feeling, no matter what type of award it is. Very nice crosses. Congrats!

Re: My first cased award
Congrats Rod! Cased awards become quite addictive ! Maybe try for a cased Sudetenland medal, they are low cost and plentiful.
