I half to say I rather like the example you posted. It has very nice detail to the numbers edelweiss, swas, and anchor etc. It compares well to Deumer examples I ve looked at with the exception of the head shape and chest feathers are slightly different IMO, could be a die variant? I ve looked at Floch fake examples that are said to be made of zinc and have vertical striations running though them, but are a fairly accurate depiction. My one concern is your example has horizontal prongs whereas most others I ve looked at have vertical prongs so I cannot say with certainty good or bad, hopefully others will chime in. Pictures for refrence. Best regards

It took a while but I believe this KM example is pretty well spot on with yours. The eagle head chest feathers and slightly lower "9" all match up rather well, however the photo quality is poor and the shield was shown as part of a collection and not discussed as an individual piece. I also found a previous thread where another example had been discussed that had the horizontal prongs configuration and that wasn t a point of discussion concerning authenticity so I assume they were indeed manufactured that way. I ll continue to look as time permits but I'm still leaning towards original.
