Ostmedaille with some silver remaining, envelope and long ribbon. Ring is maker marked, but I forgot my lupe and can't remember the maker. I'll add it when I find my lupe.

Nice, clean medal with a really great design.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Thanks Steve. I had been wanting one of these for a while but had lost out on a few and others weren't up to my standards until this baby came along and I snatched her up. I feel the Eastern Front medal is one of the nicest medals of the TR period.
Saw the other you had posted earlier - it was missing a lot of silvering.
I like this one. Received one of these in a trade from member Eric Z
not long ago ( no envelope ). Don't know why I didn't have one
in the collection..........!
Regards,
Steve.
Thats certainly a very nice example. The condition is better than any of the three I have.
My best one has only 50% of the silver wash remaining.
All good things come to those who wait.
Well done.
All the best
Dave
Steve, the other one I posted I actually bought on WAF and I think the next day this one popped up also so I had to grab it. Now I am tasked with determining if I should keep the other one also! Maybe I will for a little while.
Dave, this was also one of the nicest I have seen, and with full ribbon and decent envelope. An essential medal to any collection!
Nice set Todd
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
You chose well Todd, congrats

Thanks Chris!
Thanks also, Nick! I'm learning, slowly but surely, lol.
I've always like these Russian Front medals with the silvered helmet and rim. Big, heavy and attractive. Very impressive! (And when you think about it, if you were fighting on the Russian front, you Should have something nice to show for it-besides frostbit shrapnel and limbs missing)
