First one of the year landed recently, an unmarked zinc badge attributed to Paul Meybauer of Berlin.

This is variant M2.2.4 on the Classification table with a flat wire catch as opposed to a round wire catch or stamped sheet metal catch seen on other zinc variants by this maker.

The badge is in nice condition with most finish still remaining, the small amount of wear just to the high spots. The reverse is in the dark grey commonly seen by badges attributed to Meybauer with a flipped block hinge and wide, Meybauer type pin that tapers down to the point.
