I'm leaving for the MAX tomorrow so I'll be offline for the rest of the week, but can you post the reverse? Particularly the reverse behind the AFRIKA and the palms.

I'm only have the typical Camel Hair type and am not aware of a cotton version. But I do not claim to know much about them.
The embroidery of the example you show is very similar to examples that have been deemed to be a fake by Antonio Scapini.
I will let others with more experience correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll go back and take a picture of the post the reverse thanks a lot!!!

Not a fan of the material, not the camel hair type.
Also not a fan of the lettering.
I would let this one pass
the .jpeg tag has Chinese characters ( if you open the image )
....nuff said!!!

To be honest that fact alone makes me very very wary of any item. Just like any mention of "The Badges Men" or the city of Sialkot
However, natural scepticism and a suspicious mind aside, I haver never heard of a genuine item in such material except for the dark blue (aka black) Luftwaffe version which this obviously is not.
Local in theatre manufacture? I very much doubt it
If you have easy access to it then pics of the reverse would be good for reference but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the reverse pics.
You were very quick, do you own this one already?
Apart from the comments from earlier in the thread about the material (even if none of us have seen a genuine one like this doesn't make it impossible ) I still don't like it. From the reverse you can see that the embroidery is imprecise and rather woolly.
Have a look at this genuine camel hair type reverse side;
Note how much better the definition of the lettering is. Also note that the reverse side of the material (which doesn't actually come from a camel ) does resemble a kind of drill material whilst the obverse is of a "hairy" appearance from which the material gets the name, as in "Camel Hair coat".
It would be nice to think that the one you show is a hitherto unknown type but I am sure it isn't. As Dan pointed out above the "Chinese connection" is a massive red flag (no pun intended!)
It is useful to have the pics here for reference though.
Do you know where it originates?
