Default SA Wehrabzeichen – SA Defencebadge Type 1: fake?

    Hello to all !

I read with great attention the subject concerning the types of SA sport badges.
Given the inscription mentioned on the one I found, it should be a type 1 of SA Wehrabzeichen – SA Defencebadge, according to the indications mentioned by Gravedigger. However, on this model, no manufacturer is mentioned on the body of the badge. Only an LDO type marking, difficult to read (L/xx), is engraved on the needle. I therefore have doubts about the authenticity of this badge… Unless this is a special case?
    Your opinions are welcome.
    Thanks for your help

In my opinion, it's a fake. It looks like a redo. I've never seen these pieces without a manufacturer's mark, and the pin looks very atypical too. The mark on the pin doesn't say "LDO" (which isn't possible for awards from the NSDAP and its divisions), but a four-digit code that I can't decipher. The first letter is an L, that's obvious. I don't really like the workmanship and bronzing either.

I have to agree with this.
It is an L/ mark, but this should not be there.

Also the needle is wrong. Original badges were maker marked on the back of the swas.
