Spanienkreuz im Gold: Infos please!

Hi all,

Since years I own a spanish cross in gold (plated) without sword and last night while talking to an other collector he was insisting that that medal has never been produced...
Do u have any infos about it?

Hi Massimo, as far as I know they were never issued in Gold without swords. Are you certain it is not a Bronze?

Is gold plated 100% positive it is not bronze!

As Ade states, never in gold without swords. If it definitely is gold then it is most likely a fake but don't forget bronze washes are often mistaken for gold and silver can take on a golden hue over time. Please post pics when you're able and we can see what you've got!
