Fake...Run away! A rule to remember: A badge with the reverse pin-plate shaped like a coffin is the sign of a fake...

Coffin pin plate as Glenn says plus an emotive statement "against steel hearts" and a couple of odd shapes SS runes to sex it up does NOT a genuine badge make .........
A fantasy piece. No such award existed.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
I would recommend studying up on actual Original German Awards here on the Forum, the ones that actually existed...Once you've found an area or a badge that interests you, study/research that particular item and go into a potential purchase armed with knowledge...
I'd also have a word or two with that seller...
cheers, Glenn

Where does it end? Run run run, far far away. If they can dream it up, they can and will make it.
I think all that needed to be said, has been said......... around 2 years ago.
