This is a second pattern U-Boot-Frontspange in silver by Schwerin.
I think it's probably a cast fake: there are casting flaws on the front, and the pin, although close, seems a little too narrow at the hinge end.

This example does not match a second pattern by Schwerin.
There are issues around the length of the sub body, and the prop/rudder part.
Also, the eagle's claws attached to the swastika.

As said wrong details for this maker & poorly manufactured. Check around the forum for the correct details, makers Mark's etc to see what we mean,Regards Paul.
