It's a nice original medal, these usually go for $30 - $40 so you may have paid a little more than the going rate but not too much.
Is it marked on the ring?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Aw, I guess I should have come to you guys before purchasing it. Not as bad as it could have been though.
The asking price was $90 and I couldn't find many others less than that but was able to bring him down to $50 and thought it was a pretty good deal so I jumped on it quickly. (Again, I'm a beginner)
I haven't received the metal yet, so I don't know if it's marked, but I'll update you guys on that when I do!
You might find some true bargains in the future though that will make up for you paying a little bit extra on this one Its a very nice medal though
Thanks
Danny
Nice example in Buntmetall
yes expensive but nice.
Just got this medal today... No maker mark on the ring, unfortunately, but here's a better picture of it.
Hi,
nice honest medal i wouldnt worry about paying that little bit extra,
as Danny says something will come along and make up for it.
We have all done it in the past seen something we want and bought it, then find the same thing cheaper. Thats life as they say.
Look forward to seeing the next one.
dave.
I'd like to see a pic of the ribbon, especially the edge. I can't make out the loops you would find on an original.

How's this? If the quality isn't good enough I can pull out my DSLR again.
