what are your thoughts on this badge i know it looks awful I was thinking it may be one of those french made badges they call Bacqueville

Not a Bacqueville badge Tony just a very very crude fake all over.

The eagle is very bad

Now I'm home and can see it on a bigger screen I would say it's a fake based upon the Schwerin design. The numbers and letters on the reverse mean nothing at all. They bear no resemblance to any makers mark.
