Hello all,

Can you give me your opinion about this Kriegsmarine destroyer badge? I think the catch on the back is replaced.

Sorry that multiple image is really no use at all. It is so small that only the type of badge is recognisable. No chance whatsoever of determining originality let alone any repairs.

Sorry, you will need to do that yourself. To do it from the image posted will not help and to be honest it's a bit of an ask to want somebody to do it for you anyway.

Try emailing it to yourself then save it as a JPEG and use a resizing too such as the one in MS Paint.

If the site won't allow you to copy the image and send it to yourself I would forget it.

My own personal observation, based upon the one zerstorer Kriegs abzeichen I own is that the gilt wash on the reverse is very complete given the age? My own example the wash has worn away completely on the back. Agree the pictures aren't much help.

Yes I agree and from these pics that could just as easily be a red flag as a plus point.
