Very nice star Gus - It is pre-1940 production and appears to be the larger 38MM size.

    Gentlemen,

Here is a cap star that I just bought. It has a separate H&S and looks nice. I think this one is GPW period and will fit my ushanka perfectly!

    Your comments are welcomed.

    Gus

Very nice star Gus!! From what I have learned here, it is a pre-war star approx. '37-'40 time period. Here is a pic of one I got a little while ago. It is a bit more orange colored than the one one you show. I would like to find one like your color star also for my collection.

    Good find!!

    Regards, Steve

    Steve,

    Thanks for your comment.

Nice Star collection you have. Beautiful specimens.

I actually thought mine was more orange in the photos, but when I had it in my hands it was not the case. I am after an orange one, It looks more vintage. hopefully I will get it soon.

    Regards,

    Gus
