Budapest Medal, a Fake?

I do not think it is, but it is worth asking. I found a Budapest medal, which I might try and get, but the soldering ring looks off.

The soldering looks fine to me! I have this medal and it looks right.

Looks like a Variant 1a (without a rim at the backside); Медаль "ЗА ВЗЯТИЕ БУДАПЕШТА" .

It happened all the time that the soldered ring was off centre attached.

I'm skeptical of this medal.
- Ring looks to big
- The metal/color doesn't look right to me.

doesn't all of the casting pits make a red flag come up, just curious?

Could it not be aging, or war damage?
Anyways, I will leave this for now. I got a Defence of Stalingrad award instead.
