Campaign medal documents

When campaign medal documents were signed by military units, it was common practice to mention all the awards and honorary titles that the unit had received. This could result in extremely long designations. Here are some nice documents signed by these heavily awarded units from my collection, and other interesting campaign medal documents.

This document was given to Junior Sergeant Boris Nikitovich Babkin, and signed on 1 September 1946 by the commander of the 20th Guards Zaporozhe, Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bogdan Khmelnitsky Mechanized Division, a Guards Major General.

Victory over Germany Medal document to Guards Junior Lieutenant Zinovy Davydovich Fastovsky, 16 October 1945, signed by the commander of the 9th Guards Uman, Order of Lenin, Red Banner, Order of Suvorov Tank Corps, the well-known Hero of the Soviet Union Guards Lieutenant General of Tank Troops Vedeneyev.

Liberation of Prague Medal document to Guards Captain Semyon Moiseyevich Paikin, 19 June 1946, signed by the commander of the 78th "GTTSP", or "Guards Heavy Self-Propelled Tank Regiment", Guards Colonel Kurist.

A nice looking Liberation of Warsaw document to Junior Lieutenant Nikolai Stepanovich Baibakov, 22 February 1946, signed by the commander of the 1609th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Yeryomenko.
