Defense of Sevastopol variant 2?

Hi all- I can't tell if this is a real Sevastopol medal or not. I checked the Comprehensive Guide book, but it doesn't have any info on it really. The website that's selling it is listing it as a variation 2 (they believe it to be a variation 2 because of the aluminum suspension, but the variation 1 that is shown as an example in the Comprehensive Guide also has the same suspension). I also believe it is a variation 2, as the connection ring seems to be apart of the medal, and not separately soldered on. What do you guys think?

Adding to what has been said by others - if you want to purchase these higher and very often faked medals and/or orders, it may be worthwhile to go to reputable dealers. A recent thread on this forum had some very nice websites on offer. The disadvantage is the usually higher cost, of course, but then again buying a fake is always the most expensive..
Mat on SovietOrders has two for sale right now. Even if you don't want to buy there you can browse in his archive for tens of high resolution Sevastapol photos to get an idea what they look like.
