FCM medal to a medic for Stalingrad battle

Field medic of 150 Guards separate medical bat., 51 Guards rifle division, 21 army.
Awarded for the Stalingrad battle, for the action taking place during the beginning of November 1942 for closing the blockade around Stalingrad.
The veteran served in 76 rifle division, which was reformed into 51 Guards rifle division on 23 November 1942.
76 rifle division was previously called "Armenian" mountain rifle, i.e. formed originally in 1922 of primarily Armenians.
Therefore not surprisingly, SHAKHNAZARYAN was of Armenian descent.
Citation:
Many times working under enemy air strikes, he never abandoned the wounded. During the combat operations of the latest period, from the village Podpeshenskoe and till village Sokarevka, comrade SHAKHNAZARYAN exhibited exceptional care and attention towards the wounded. During 08-16 November this year, the conditions were difficult and he had to act under direct enemy bombs and machine gun air strikes. Defying danger, he worked tirelessly day and hight setting aside his personal need for rest. He picked up wounded in the enemy air strikes in the village Podpeshenskoe and delivered them to the surgical facility for first medical aide. While under the same enemy strike, he carried the wounded to the rear.
For selfless work, he received 2 gratitudes form the Command.
