Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:
He took part in the operations aimed at crossing channels and liquidating encircled German forces near the city of Potsdam and Wannsee Island. He spent the entire duration of the operations directly among the combat formations, providing first aid to 70 wounded soldiers and officers. In the most difficult combat conditions during the encirclement battles he did not lose composure or presence of mind, but continued providing first aid to the wounded. He organized the smooth evacuation of wounded men from the island, despite the difficulties of trying to overcome the water barrier. Through his brave and selfless actions he saved the lives of many soldiers and officers.
He deserves to be awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd Class.
