Help with authenticity of the Order of the Red Banner

Imo an original 1954 awarded Red Banner.

Indeed, this number falls in the 1954 range.

Thanks for the keen observation. But Matt sent the info on the Red banner award as it was awarded to Kadnikov in 1953-54. His name was matched with the award, but no citation info. The number of the medal comes back awarded in 1953.

As said in the other thread, this Red Banner was most likely awarded for long service (20 years of service in the Red Army).

Just checked on Pamyat and this is Nikolay: Кадников Николай Васильевич :: Память народа

The citation for the Red Banner is still not available from the archives unfortunately. In fact none of the citations for Nikolay his awards are available at the moment.
