It's a very poor reproduction, in my opinion; suspension I have never seen before, the ring on the top of the medal, rounded on one side, flat on the reverse, the cast and color of the medal are all wrong. Consider there were almost 15 million of these medals issued, a genuine example should be easy to obtain and relatively inexpensive. Please note there were many variations of the medal as well as suspensions.
Wonder me really hard
As you said this were not uncommon or something
This medal was given out over 15 Million Times and who want to fake this
On militariaportals this cost not more than 25€
Ive bought it for 5€ on the fleemarked

It is a Czech version of the Victory over Germany .
Repros dont exists in my eyes
But I am not shure what you mean Dom

This medal is authentic and made in Czechoslovakia, we can see clearly the "Zahradnik" factory mark on the suspension which is typical
Czech productions .
Thanks a lot Dom. Learned something new today
Thanks too mates

Thank you, Dom, I was not aware of Czechoslovakian variations. I stand corrected.
Here is my medal. Very few units were issued.
