    Rank-captain
Post and military unit- commander of communications of 118th Army mortar Demidov regiment
Submitted to the government award - Order of the Patriotic War 1 degree

    Year of birth 1913
    nationality - Russian
    Member of the Bolshevik Party
Participation in the war from August 1942
It was called up for service by the Borsk military commissariat of the Gorky region
Earlier, he was awarded the medal "For Military Merit"

    ==================================

    Description of the feat:
During the offensive operation in the vicinity of Zherebichi village, the commander of communications, Capt. Belikov, perfectly organized the work of all types of communications, thus ensuring a clear continuous control of the fire in battle.
During the battle, the captain was constantly at the command post, and personally supervised the restoration of damaged communication lines.
At the critical moment of the battle, when there were no people left to repair the communication line, Captain Belikov himself repaired two damages under a strong enemy fire.

As a result of the good work of the communications unit, the 732 rifle regiment carried out the task assigned to it (encirclement of the enemy on the Dvorishchensky ledge).
During the pursuit of the enemy in the region of Zaprudieu villages, M.Koblici, etc.. and when the Medzelka River was overcoming, the captain quickly organized contact with the units.

For these feats and energetic work to ensure uninterrupted communication and personal leadership - he is worthy Order of the Patriotic War 1 degree.

Thank you Sir! It's great to know for what heroic deeds hes been awarded since this cyrillic is totaly unreadable for me.
I hvae one more question, could you try with this citation for ORB 1st class? It's been awarded to the same man but this time dates shows that it's been awarded for the battle of Koenigsberg and Samland offensive.

"In preparing for the operation to break through the Koenigsberg fortified area and to liquidate the enemy's Zemland grouping, he promptly organized communications within the regiment and breakout groups.
During these battles, wireline and wireless radio communications worked flawlessly, and this helped the regiment accomplish combat missions.
At the critical moment of the battle, when there were no people to repair, he personally eliminated the damage to communication lines.

During the fighting on the breakthrough of the Konigsberg fortified area (8.4.1945) and the liquidation of the enemy's Zemland grouping (April 13-17, 1945), he organized the repair of damaged radio stations directly in the regiment's location. This eliminated the need to transport damaged radio stations to repair shops located very far away".

Thank you once again! That's interesting that commander of communications in rank of captain had to repair breaks himself...
