Can we get a good picture of the serial number and maker mark? All other photos are excellent by the way.
I've never handled one, so I have no input on the originality. From my limited knowledge, the nut looks wrong to me.
This is currently in Ratisbons auction, ending today. Starting price only € 450 so I was already tempted to go for it. This Nevsky has a replaced screwnut and it looks like the pin has been re-attached/re-soldered (awarded late '44 so could be broken off in battle somewhere in '45 during heavy fights). I have 3 Nevsky's myself which is not enough to say I have good knowledge on these but my novice opinion is that this is a good one.
Here's better shots of the serial #:
Here's a known original, serial number wise close to Ratisbon's one:
Final saleprice was € 605 + 22,5% = € 741,13
If it's real, then someone got a hell of a deal
I bought myself a medalbar with an OG II, OG III, Victory over Germany and Capture of Berlin incl. award booklet, awarded to a sniper which was quite expensive. If it wasn't for that medalbar I would definitely bid on this Nevsky. Someone indeed got a great deal there!
I am looking for a similar medalbar with OG II and OG III
