Red Banner

Article about: I picked up this Red Banner for a little more than I would pay for a 200,000s Order of Glory III with original hanger (say \\$20 more). Would you trade a 'average' OGIII + \\$20 for this?

It's most likely awarded for long service in 1954. Suspension and ribbon are replacements.

Regarding question of trading....well, that's all up to what you collect. Myself I would prefer an "average" OGIII with original hanger in the 200.000 range much more than this long service '50's award with replaced suspension.

I think this way too, I see them go for more than this on ebay even for ones in this serial range.....wasn't sure why, but they consistently do.
