Request for help about Combat Merit Medal

I recently acquired this medal for $50, at that time it looked ok to me.

However, I am starting to have a few doubts about this particular medal. It looks like a Type 1, Variation 3 medal. I'm just concerned about the soldering of the ring. It seemed to have spilled slightly onto the reverse of the medal.

Could it actually might had been a post war variation with the observe polished to hide the saber hilt curve and, a random stamped serial number on it?

I have attached two photos from the seller and two from me. I would appreciate any help to see if it's indeed a Type 1, Variation 3 or a modified post war unumbered variation. Thanks

I second what Marcel said- all looks good imo. Stamp style seems perfectly fine to me, I don’t see any sign of tampering.

Nothing wrong with this piece. Due to the production method you'll find that no two pieces are exactly identical: the amount of solder can vary somewhat, some eyelets are a bit off-center, etc.
