Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

During combat action against the Japanese samurai near Boli, the reconnaissance detachment bumped into a withdrawing enemy column and engagement was initiated. Sergeant Lyubich displayed valor, steadfastness, and skill in combat while employing his weapon.

While acting as a 45mm gun shell porter, Comrade Lyubich’s gun crew destroyed as many as 30 Japanese soldiers and simultaneously covered the gun’s right flank with his PPS submachinegun, killing four Japanese soldiers. Comrade Lyubich supported the reconnaissance detachment’s success.
