    Default souvinir medals?

My wife found these at a garage sale yesterday and we have no idea
what they actually are so I am posting them here to see if you guys can
    help us out.

I'm guessing that they are not military related and they are not very old
but Soviet items are complete out of my wheel house.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Greg

These depict all the former Soviet republics.

The pentagon shaped medal represents the Soviet Union as a whole and all the others represent each individual Soviet state, But i've no idea if they were actually an award or just a collectable.
Edit. Marcel beat me to it.

To me they look like collectable pins, as there are so many series of pins from the Soviet Union. I have a few of those collectable pins myself. They don't have real collectors value but are just nice to have.

    Thanks guys
    That was very helpful.
She bought the set for $2 so even if they are not valuable it is still
a neat item for a low cost. --Win-win.

So....does the space these awards use up your "allowable allotted space" in the house??

I'm not quite sure what her plan is. I think that she bought them to flip on ebay.

I added a diecast race bike to my collection a month or so ago and I don't have room
to display it. It's in a rental storage locker along with a lot of our stuff Owning
