Default Australian Ribbon rack...need help in finding the recipient

    Hello everyone,

I recently won this ribbon rack on ebay a couple of weeks ago...Needless to say, it's an impressive ribbon rack, as it shows that the owner was a 3 war veteran, an officer, and someone who saw quite a bit of action. I was able to identify all but one ribbon, 2nd from the left in the bottom row. My main question is, based on how unique this rack is, is it possible to link the officer with the rack? If anyone could help me identify the original owner of this rack it would be very much appreciated!!!!

4md, where would I be able to search for order of australia recipients? I'm sure that based on how unique this ribbon rack is with the awards and campaigns that this person participated in, it wouldn't be hard to narrow down the selection

I just googled "Order of australia" and found a government site called "Its an honour". trouble is without a name you are searching for a needle in a haystack. There are 240 000 OA entries. You might be better searching miitary cross winners as Steve says. Try the Australian war memorial site for this although there are over a 1000 entries for military cross winners

    good luck
