just sharing a few pictures of my newly acquired British Crimea Medal as I do not see too many of these on the forum...I recently started getting into British medals because I find them quite attractive....I welcome any comments regarding this medal....also, managed to score a nice deal on a 4 pc lot of assorted British medals, including a pic of that as well.....

the Crimea medal has a brooch mount, replacement ribbon, three clasps, is unmarked, and I am OK with that since they were primarily issued unmarked and due to the historical nature of that campaign(e.g. Charge of the Light Brigade) they are sometimes engraved with glamorous units to enhance their value

the lot I grabbed for a good deal, nothing special here but there are 3 that I didn't have before...Aussie WW2 Medal, British WW1 Medal, 1914 Star(over-polished) and I was pleasantly surprised by the Red Cross Medal...all are named and the Red Cross Medal is named to a woman which I assume would be a nurse
