Hi all just re-joined and posting pics of my Aust/Commonwealth display.
You don't see many Australian collections these days. That is a really nice looking Jungle hat, most I see are missing the pin. I believe I saw one the other day, I was really tempted to pick it up. They are great looking hats! What is the document beneath the Australian flag?
Nice display.
Aussie stuff is nonexistant in the US.
Welcome to the forum and nice display

Gday and welcome to the forum mate.
Nice collection you have there and thanks for showing.
Enjoy the forum and all the best
Cheers
Dave
Thanks guys, the slouch hat is an original 1943 dated WW2 hat, I always wanted one and was so happy to acquire it. The document is just a certificate
certifying the small bullet is from Ypres.
I have a lot of battlefield fragment/shell finds in my new display, that I've picked up from various places, Tukey/Nth.France.
I have actually updated the display so I'll grab a couple of pics of the new display.
Cheers all.
awesome display.
Slayer71 I like the glass display cabinet a nice layout.. Is hard to find stuff in Oz?? Cheers Terry
Nice display and welcome to the forum. Good to see more Aussies here, and Australian displays. Looking forward to seeing the relics
Terry, it depends what you are looking for and who you know. Anything non commonwealth is usually expensive here but with army surplus stores drying up (well in Perth anyways) its getting harder to get even allied stuff. Internet is a great help but its nothing like the US or even the UK here.
Jason
Volksjager so it must be like collecting Rocking Horse Sh*t for TR stuff??. That doesnt make things hard work..shame that because a bit of both German & Allied goes down well!!!. Myself I just collect anything I fancy.... cheers Terry.
