    hello....sharing pics of my latest British campaign medal acquisition and feeding my recently acquired admiration for older British medals....one nice side effect for me is that I find myself reading up on the wars that these were awarded for and learning some history....

    stamped to 4429 Pte J. Larg 13th Hussars, court mounted with a replacement ribbon...got a few nicks but looks nice

    just sharing for view and/or comment.....thanks

    just sharing a quick update on this....I decided I needed to dress up the medal display and fill the space and settled on adding period cap badges....respective to the named unit on the medal and trying to stay period to the badge...finally received my first one and waiting on the other two...found a couple of nice sites in the UK(surprise) to order badges from....

    here's my first arrival...the 13th Hussars....quite happy with it

    waiting on the Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry for the Khedive and Royal Artillery for the WW1 pair....and an opening for something else

    alright....they have arrived, I have to say the UK to US postal speed is impressive...
