    It looks like a Meyers shield. What I know is after WW2 Mfg's went to a Alpha Numerical code instead of their name.
    I'll look into this and get back with ya.
    Somebody might beat me to it, so just check back!!

    Yes that is a Meyers made badge. Meyers dropped the name in 1953 and used the shield with the M and#.
    I also found a set of US Pilot wings from the Vietnam era marked with that exact marking.

    Yes there are.
    But Meyers is not one of them. Meyers is a very common maker.
    Its still a very cool looking badge.
