WW2 British medal group

This Pacific star group is a recent pickup, all have been privately named, was a little concerned about the diffent style of naming on the stars, could the Pacific star be a later replacement ?? , the service number falls into a block issued at RAF Padgate in Sept.1939.

Hi, as I am sure you know, when it comes to privately named British stars/war & defence medals, you really have to be happy to accept them or not as being period done. I personally like to keep it simple by having the box of issue and slip or accompanying paperwork, at least that way if the medals themselves were not the owners "originals" I along with the rest of the world am none the wiser as the entitlement is the correct.
