It's my new WWII Bronze Star:

R.R, that is a beauty My 1st passion in collecting has been U.S. militaria probably because i didn't know anything else and my family members served in the pacific theater.

I don't mean to invade your thread but this is my uncle's star who was in many campaigns and battles. I was so young i wish i could remember his stories. At least is still have his medals

Please forgive the flash it is mounted on a wall with no natural light.

Very nice family medals Ty,

My granfather was a brazilian navy sailor at WWII, he scorted some ships to US carring strategic materials. Unhapply his medals disapears after his death.

Yes i know the feeling. My father was in the Merchant marines in ww2. Two of his boats were sank by Japan but in time all his medals were lost. I can remember his trunk full of military uniforms being thrown out in the early 70's
