1936 German 7.92x57mm

Hi all, Gotta make this quick as I'm due to the airport soon for New Mexico. Anyways, This is the German 1936 dated 7.92 ammo I was talking about, it's a little tarnished but I was expecting that with ammo this old. Boxes look almost brand new, both of the same maker. I'm thinking this is light ball ammo? If someone can read the label for me I'd be very happy

Don;t plan on shooting any of this either. Will be on the hunt for more when I've got money. Hope the pictures are good, take care. George

I tried to upload photos of a 1943 gnk carton for 7.92x57mm light blue colored band with red letters : fur M.G. (MaschineGewehr), but they were out of focus. Here's an old carton for 6.35mm Browning made by Ε.Π.Κ. (Greek Powder & Shell).

Very nice, the photos are good. Little off topic but both my grandparents are from Kalamata, Greece(I think that's around Athens?) But back on topic, what's the law regarding ammunition on Greece?

Hi there, theotherhomer...Thanks for the reply...Glad to talk to you and maybe to other greek-origin guys from other countries...No Kalamata is not around Athens, it's located in the south-west part of Peloponeese (Πελοπόννησος) around 250 km from Athens...
The law regarding ammo & explosives in summary; is very strict in Greece. You can only buy shotgun shells in the free market, for hunting. Only registered shooters (for IPSC or self-defence) can buy handgun ammo and that only by special permission.
That is common i guess for Europe standards...
