20mm SchVAK AP-I round

Here’s a new little purchase of mine.


Always wanted a Russian 20mm to compliment both my German and British 20mms. These Aircraft SchVAKS rounds are quite a small round compared to them however. Not much else to add aside from the 1943 marking on the base. There would be more markings on the bottom of the projectile but it won’t budge when trying to move it.

All I need now is a HE version to make a nice set! Sorry for not adding too much information for this but here is a good link for those interested

An interesting round... and it looks like the projectile has never seen the inside of a barrel too!
