I didn't realise they did tracer in .45cal. Apart from use in a Thompson, I can't really see the need.

These cool ammo, is hard to find i guess. As with all steel-cased ammo, the primers are corrosive . Anyway one thing that doesn't show in photos is the x mark on top of red tip of the projectile, an aid to "feel" what you're loading in your magazine in dim-light conditions.

Oh and another thing... Check youtube for a real cool period video on "how to use your m1911" where these cool ammo give a real show !!!
